My TB Story

I was diagnosed with Tuberculosis in 2013 which unfortunately stopped me from travelling to America on a trip of a lifetime. I wanted to share this personal story to raise awareness for TB as a lot of people think that it is an ancient disease that has been eradicated which is far from the truth. I also wanted to share my story to help others who may also get diagnosed with the disease, to help people to understand the symptoms, the recovery process and what TB actually is.
